Bayonet: crown over "C", 816, crown / Scabbard: crown & 773
Condition:
The bayonet is in Good
condition. It has some scratches and wear to the finish. Blade has been sharpened and has cosmoline on it. There is light rust on the handle and there is verdigris on both the handle and on the rivets. The latch works. There are three holes on the leather without rivets. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
