    Description

    WW II Trench Art Love Token, dated 1944
    The silver heart was made from a Australian shilling dated 1943.  It is set in a clear lucite heart.  These coins were minted with sterling silver.  The front is inscribed "To My Darling Wife" and dangles from a bow marked New Guinea, 1944.
    Condition:  Good vintage condition with expected age and wear
