Description
Here is a unique womens blouse from Central America. Hand woven in Guatemala of brown and black linen or cotton that melds into a deep chocolate brown; this color will flatter any complexion. Lovely embroidered pattern across chest and back. Fabric covered buttons. Beautifully cut to emphasize a small waist, with a tulip-style neckline. Tag says size 14, which harkens back to the 1960s when it was a Small. This blouse is size Small; please check measurements below. Clean, in very good condition.2 areas with a very light "pick" or snag, shown in last 2 pics. In the last photo, location is just below neckline in the back.
This blouse came from the estate of a couple who traveled frequently in Central America in the 1960s and 70s. I have a pair of woven runners in my store from the estate also, and a set of embroidered chicken squares.
