    Description

    William Davis Coolidge [1873 1975] was an American physicist and engineer who made major contributions to X-ray machines and served as the director of the General Electric Research Laboratory. Coolidge is also famous for the development of ''ductile tungsten'' which is important for the incandescent light bulb. Listed for auction is a photograph signed by William D. Coolidge. The photograph is a formal image and is dedicated and signed ''with best regards W. D.Coolidge'' and dated 7''/31/1968'' in white ink. The photograph is a b/w which measures 8.00 x 10.00 inches and is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic and the photograph is a nice example of the prominent physicist.
