Received from a local estate auction. I do not have knowledge about Military items, tag on the unit states 1942, No. 888. It is in good cosmetic condition with some handling marks. Its metal case, leather/canvas bags show their age (dents/dirt/scratches/etc.,) and leather pieces may need some conditioning/oiling/etc.,. It seems to have clean optics, however I do not know if focusing is sharp enough (it may need a calibration, manual explains it). Please read description & view pictures for details.

You are bidding on a vintage Wild Heerbrugg TM 2 Coincidence 80-cm rangefinder (measuring range 300 to 30,000m). I received this group from a local estate auction. Tag on the unit states 1942, No. 888. I do not have knowledge about Military items, I do not know if this unit is originally from 1942. It is in good cosmetic condition with some handling marks. Its metal case, leather/canvas bags show their age (dents/dirt/scratches/etc.,) and leather pieces may need some conditioning/oiling/etc.,. It seems to have clean optics, however I do not know if focusing is sharp enough (it may need a correction/calibration, manual explains how it can be done). There is an original manual in German and two different Xerox copy instruction manuals that are in English. Please view pictures for details. Please note that larger tripod leather strap 'securing to the metal case' needs repair (teared locking hole). Due to its age/nature, this group sold as is, please bid accordingly.
