Vintage Culver Aircraft Company 1940s Model V Airplane Sales Brochure “EXPERIMENTAL” Cover Plane!
ESTATE FIND! From Wichita, Kansas “Air Capital of the World” comes another fantastic vintage aviation historical find!
It’s a 4-page original marketing brochure printed back in 1946.
When I opened it, there was a head and shoulders
black-and-white
photo inside, which is probably an employee photo from the gentleman who worked at Culver and
tucked away
this brochure
.
I can’t be sure, but that is the most logical assumption
.
Features some great vintage Culver planes in action, including a yellow and blue model with a wooden propeller which is marked “EXPERIMENTAL CULVER” just below the windshield.
I believe when this was printed in 1946, Walter Beech – founder of Beechcraft - was one of the co-owners of the company. Therefore, this Culver model likely holds a special place in the hearts of Beechcraft fanatics.
