Vintage Sawyer's Rotomatic Model 700 Slide Projector

Description

This is a vintage Sawyer's Rotomatic Model 700 Slide Projector that comes with the power cord and remote cable. It's actually in good shape, and is clean, with just some scattered marks/scratches. Here's the story as far as function. The power switch for the fan and the bulb works fine. The manual and power focus works fine as well. If you slide the manual advance the gear that drives the tray moves as it should, and if you move the forward/reverse button the gear advances forward or backward as it should, so it's apparent that if you had the proper slide tray you could watch slides by manually moving the slide carrier in and out. The issue I have is that I don't have a tray to test it and when I push the button to electronically advance a slide, the drive gear doesn't turn like it does when I manually move the slide. I don't know it would work if you had a tray or not, but since I can't be sure, it's being sold as is for parts or repair. Again, you could use it manually, or maybe it does work electronically when a tray is in place, and because of this, as noted, it's sold as-is
