Vintage 1959 Military Aircraft Fighter Pilot’s Bailout Breathing Oxygen Cylinder AN6025AX22-21
that looks to be in new surplus condition. The Cylinder itself is 1.900” Diameter and is 10-3/4” long. With the Valve assembly, it measures 13-1/2” overall length. I believe it is a “Type MD-1” assembly. Below are some of the
identifying marks
on the unit. It has a 11-1/2” Long Cable with a 1-1/2” Ball at the end which was to be pulled to activate the oxygen flow. It is
missing
the rubber hose from the valve that would connect to the pilot’s oxygen breathing mask. This is a
