The SolidPod is a great solution for those looking for a more economical media solution to the traditional CFast card options. However, it has one major issue: the mount. The SmallRig SolidPod Nato Clamp Mount MD2490 solves this issue allowing multiple options to mount the SolidPod in a horizontal or vertical position. You then have the freedom to mount quickly disconnect the unit with the nato mount. This makes offloading your SolidPod footage much easier. The mount also provides anti-rotation features so that you do not have to continually tighten or reposition the mount as you would with the standard SolidPod mounting solutions. This is a great, lightweight solution to help to make your on-set life easier.
