SIGNED LETTER, OLIVER J. LODGE, 1924, SPRITUALISM, JOURNAL OF PSYCHICAL RESEARCH

Description

Oliver J. Lodge, Typed Letter Signed ("Yours faithfully, Oliver J. Lodge").
The letter is one page and is dated May 13th, 1924 and is on his engraved Normanton House, Lake, Salisbury letterhead. It is address to Mr. F. H. Hooper*. 8 3/4" x 8". The paper has a "Conqueror, London." watermark. Crease due to being folded, else in very good condition.
In the letter Lodge thanks Hooper for a check and questions his rights of reproduction for an article he has written, possibly for reprinting in Journal of Society for Psychical Research.
*Franklin Henry Hooper (1862-1940) was the American Editor for the Encyclopedia Britannica.
Oliver J. Lodge (1851-1940) was a British physicist, inventor and a spiritualist who explored telepathy and proof of existence beyond the grave.
