Description

Rare Norwegian-used British WW2 MKII Army/Civilian Defence Steel Helmet
Some paint has fallen off due to usage, otherwise complete and in very nice contidion.
Produced by B.M.B in January 1941. Marked with number 5505 and size 56.
The MKII was used by British and Commonwealth forces as well as exile forces from many different countries during WW2. Many ended up in Norway after the war and saw use in the Norwegian Armed Forces. They were later phased out by the Norwegian M58 (an M1 clone which I also have for sale) and sold to the Norwegian Civilian Defence. Here they saw use for many years. A helmet with a long and interesting life, just imagine if it could talk! Please check out my other Norwegian helmets for sale!
