Pasteur, Louis (1822 -1895) - Autograph note and personal Visiting Card
French chemist and microbiologist, popularly known as the "father of microbiology".
Autograph note UNSIGNED. 1p., 5.25 x 8.0 inch, n.p., n.d. Handwritten note with three “Pasteur” within the text. Indications to Lucien VIARD, member of the Board of Directors of Crédit Foncier de France to distribute "the hundred bonds of Mr. Pasteur: 50 to Mrs. Vallery-Radot mother, 25 to himself, 12 to René Vallery-Radot (his son-in-law), and 13 to be delivered to M. Pasteur 45 rue d'Ulm”. In French: “… les cent obligations de M. Pasteur : 50 à Mme veuve Vallery-Radot mère, 25 à lui-même, 12 à René Vallery-Radot (son gendre), et 13 à faire remettre chez M. Pasteur 45 rue d'Ulm.” Also included is a fine UNSIGNED Visiting Card of Pasteur. Letter with mailing fold and handling wear, card in fine condition.
