    Description

    Here is a very special old vintage Sheaffer fountain pen.
    Nib is marked "14k" and bears the serial number 3016610.
    The pen itself has finely etched vertical stripes and a raised white dot above the clip. I was unable to find amy photos of one exactly like it in order to provide a model name or approximate age, but I believe the pen to date from either 1949 or the very early Fifties. Sheaffer experts out there, please correct me if I am wrong!
