Up for sale is a BOEING SATURN V SYSTEMS ENGINEERING TRAINING VOLUME 2 BOOKLET.
This booklet covers some of the Boeing company’s involvement with the Saturn V NASA Apollo Space Program. "This study guide was prepared by the Saturn V Systems Engineering Training Unit of The Boeing Company. Its primary purpose is to support classroom instruction, and on-the-job training for Saturn V personnel."
This booklet was for training purposes only.
I am guessing that this booklet was published or used around the 1960s, when the Saturn program was active.
The front cover of this booklet has some issues, the front cover along the left side is somewhat bent (likely from use), there are some random smears on the front cover, someone wrote a name near the top right corner area of the front cover, there appears to be an old coffee stain on the lower right corner of the front cover, the staples holding the booklet together are somewhat rusty & the rust has slightly seeped onto the front cover near the staples, most of the corners of the front cover are wrinkled.
The inside of this booklet is in good condition with minor issues.
This booklet has some handwriting inside of it on some pages.
The back cover of this booklet has some issues, the lower right corner area has what looks like an old coffee stain, there are some random smears & smudges on the back cover, the top right corner of this booklet is somewhat bent. There are some strange scrapes around the area where the 2 staples are, that hold the booklet together. See the pictures for additional info on the condition of this booklet.
This booklet is 11 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide by around .30 of an inch thick.
This is a very rare Boeing Saturn V Systems Engineering Training Booklet with a lot of interesting information on some of the Saturn V systems.
