    Description

    The chart, which is approximately 41” x 13½”, is from the APOLLO 8 mission that was the first mission to circle the moon and return to earth.  It is Sheet 1 of  3 that tracks Revolution 1 around the earth for December 1968 launch dates and is identified as 1st EDITION 1, 26 NOVEMBER 1968.  The chart was prepare by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center, USAF, for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
    I apologize for the quality of photos provided.  The charts is legible but my photo equipment and techniques leave a lot to be desired.
