    Description

    Here are 4 different flat (staple and matches removed) matchcovers from lodging businesses in Kearney, Nebraska.  Three were on US Highway 30, the old Lincoln Highway, and all four were AAA approved the matchcovers say.  From the left are: the Hammer Motel (picture of a hammer); Elliott Motor Lodge (CONOCO gasoline); Budget Motel (aka Motel 8); and the International Inn (Friendship Inn).  Only the Budget Motel has a struck striker: the other three are unstruck.  There is no glue, tape or handwriting on the inside of any matchcover. The quality of the matchcovers varies from so-so good (Elliott) to very good (Budget) to excellent (Hammer and International Inn).
