North American Aviation Rocketdyne Division Report R-6529 delivered to NASA dated 31 July 1966.
Contains Heat Transfer Experimental Study results with gaseous and liquid hydrogen for cooling the thrust chamber and nozzle of the Apollo Saturn V J-2 Rocket Engine. The report also examines advanced cooling techniques (for that day) including transpiration and acoustic liners.
The back half of the report provides analytical expressions for the engine transients and develops heat transfer correlations for various cooling methods for engine transient operation models.
